How I handle your information

Catalyst Marine Services LLC is my mobile boat detailing business in Ocean City, MD. I'm Jacob (Jake) Procino. This page covers what I collect when you use catalystmarineservices.com, ask for a quote, book work, or get texts from me, and what I do with it.

What I collect

What you type into my forms: your name, email, phone number, details about your boat, where it's kept, and anything you write in the message box.
Quote, job, invoice and payment records for the work I do.
Texts and emails you send me.
Basic site usage from Google Analytics (pages visited, device type, rough location). This uses cookies.
A sign-in cookie if you use the customer app at catalystmarineservices.com/my.

How I use it

To answer your request and put a quote together.
To schedule the work and keep you posted on it.
To send invoices and receipts and take payment.
To send boat care emails, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.

I don't sell your information.

Text messages (SMS)

If you check the box to get texts from me (on my website, on a quote, or in the customer app), or tell me directly that it's fine to text you, I'll text you about your quote, appointment times, invoices and payments, and reply to texts you send me.

Message frequency varies with your job.
Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP at any time to stop getting texts. Reply START to turn them back on.
Reply HELP for help, or call me at (302) 853-2853.
Texting is optional. You don't have to agree to texts to get a quote or book work.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Who else handles it

A few companies run parts of my business for me and only see what they need to do that job:

Twilio sends and receives my text messages.
Resend and Google Workspace send my emails.
Stripe handles card payments. Your card number goes to Stripe, not to me.
Netlify and Fly.io host this website and my booking system.
Google Analytics measures site traffic.

I'll also share information if the law requires it.

How I protect it

Names, emails and phone numbers in my booking system are stored encrypted. Access is limited to me.

Your choices

Texts: reply STOP.
Emails: use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email.
To see, fix or delete what I have on file, email or call me. I keep job and payment records I need for taxes.
